"Sydney Abroad offers up to 350 International Exchange Scholarships each year – valued at $1000 each. Eligible exchange students are automatically considered. The awards are allocated on the basis of academic merit, with students ranked by their AAM (Annual Average Mark)."
J W AND B K ELKINS ARCHITECTURAL SCHOLARSHIP, Scholarship
"Founded in 1972 by a gift of $5000 from Mrs B.K. Elkins to establish a scholarship in the Faculty of Architecture to be known as the J.W. and B.K. Elkins Architectural Award.
The object of the scholarship is to enable a student who has completed the requirements for admission to the degree of Bachelor of Design in Architecture, at the Pass Grade, but who is continuing into Honours, to undertake Honours research in the following year.
The award shall be based on the student's academic record within the degree and their application, including research proposal.
Awarded annually on the recommendation of the Associate Dean (Research), the Bachelor of Design in Architecture Honours Coordinator and one other academic staff member with recent supervisory experience with Bachelor of Design in Architecture Honours students, provided the candidate is of sufficient merit."
