Stickbulb by RUX

Stickbulbs are versatile, modular, and sleek wooden beams of light. The design pairs reclamed and sustainably sourced wood with energy efficient LED lamps. What emerges from this combination is a
versatile, playful, and strikingly simple lighting design that evokes the ambient glow of a candle without the flicker.

Each bulb is it’s own entity. It can stand alone and become a part of the torch series, or be paired with other bulbs in the vase or bang series. The plug and play nature of these elements allows Stickbulb
to be simultaneously playful and elegant.

While at RUX, I was responsible for creating and experimenting with the initial Stickbulb prototypes, designing and prototyping the wall mount bracket , and contributing to the graphic layout and style of the Stickbulb brand.

Stickbulb has been published on numerous design blogs, such as MocoLoco, Gismodo, and Design Boom, and has been featured in Architectural Record, Dwell, and House Beautiful Magazines.
