About 

I am an architectural design & experiential strategist enthused by the psychology and politics surrounding space-making. My work involves synthesizing various research points — demographic, culturally historic, environmental, and aesthetic — into actionable items to steer the design. I have worked as a Communications & Research Lead at Adjaye Associates and an experience designer for the body: a home for love — a creative healing space for black survivors of sexual trauma.

Designed all programming & experiences both digital & in real life centered on
creative wellness, trauma-informed care, and community building

• Designed curriculum-based programming to address healing holistically
(mind, body, spirit) examples included: psycho education, art therapy, trauma-informed yoga, healing circles, self care workshops, and writing workshops

• Orchestrated the body’s launch and fundraiser kickoff on March 1st 2020
called “mybodymyhome”
Transformed our interpretations of healing, self-love, and wellness into 3 hour
activation
Included art installation, book swap + reading corner, interactive timeline on
exploitation of the black female body, on-site facials, film screening, panel
discussion, and photo set design reminiscent of “your grandma’s living room”

• Spearheaded consultation process involving three black women psychologists
& trauma-informed healers to revamp programming & train team in trauma-informed practices
