Archinect's Architecture School Lecture Guide for Winter/Spring 2014
Archinect's Get Lectured is up and running again for the Winter/Spring '14 term! As a refresher from our Fall 2013 guide, every week we'll feature a school's lecture series--and their snazzy posters--for the current season. Be sure to keep track of any upcoming lectures you don't want to miss.
Our next poster comes from the Rice School of Architecture/Rice Design Alliance. RSA/RDA is inviting RDA members and the public to their "On Immediacy" Lecture Series, curated by Rice SoA Assistant Professor Jesús Vassallo.
More details on the series: "These international firms — from Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, and Mexico — play with form, color, material, and process, producing work that defies easy description and collapses distinctions between art and architecture, representation and construction, and drawing and building."
Want to share your school's lecture series? Send us your school's lecture series poster and details to connect@archinect.com.
Lectures will be at 7:00 p.m. in the Brown Auditorium in the Caroline Wiess Law Building at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston at 1001 Bissonnet. Pre-lecture reception at 6 p.m.
