Swiss Reinsurance Co. said Monday it agreed to sell its London headquarters, the Foster-designed 40-story glass skyscraper at 30 St. Mary Axe, to a German real-estate company for 600 million pounds (US$1.18 billion). (Apparently now we are calling this the "Erotic Gherkin" due to its provocative shape.) Good enough for its new owners, IVG Immobilien AG, who claim it is "an attractive investment..."
