Thanks for sharing this. I think "promising" is an excellent choice of words, especially for the interview footage with Bob and Denise. They just confound me: I'm simultaneously energized and furious with what they have to say. It's impossible to be neutral on them, but I veer wildly in what my actual response is, both pro and con.
The 1960's aerial footage of Las Vegas is quite a treat, too.
I love this rivalry with Kahn! just cause his son made a documentary on his father, will all the other kids of the philadelphia greys make flicks 'bout their parents?
Javier, I just recently became aware of the Venturi film and thought I'd share it. I was not aware of the previous post, so I hope you don't mind the repeat. I will say, for anyone in the DC metro area, James Venturi is doing a lecture/preview of the film at the Catholic Univeristy of America School of Architecture (where I'm finsihing my M.Arch thesis), 2 April 2007 at 5:30pm. I think it is a great opportunity for students, for our school has several studios/courses that integrate film and architecture. It should definitely be full of interesting conversation.
