Design proposals were unveiled last week for U of Chicago's new Center for Creative and Performing Arts from finalists Morphosis, Libeskind, Williams+Tsien, Maki, and Hollein. Models on display in March 2007 in the university's new Gordon Center for Integrative Science. (note: this date contrasts an apparent factual error in the Chicago Maroon article.)

wow, I'll go check them out this weekend.
...don't forget to wear your stare-inducing "Architecture Sucks" tee, and take some pictures.
Don't head down just yet! The models will be made available for public viewing only after the jury has made its recommendation and the trustees have chosen an architect, and that will likely take place in March of 2007.
