The landmark reopened over the weekend to cap a headline-grabbing year for the French capital. Archinect has followed the process of recovery and restoration since the first reports of the fire broke on April 15th, 2019. Villeneuve told reporters: "This wasn’t about me, but I’ve left my mark in my own way." The $800 million restoration is not expected to be fully completed until late 2025 or 2026 to allow for the return of all prior public and liturgical activities.

I mean, you have to be very egotistical to believe "you " did all that. "This wasn’t about me, but I’ve left my mark in my own way." sure jan.
He led the team. Allow him to take credit for his role as well. Tired of this egalitarian equalization of efforts. Some excel, others follow, many fail.
And I'm sure you've fallen in that latter category more often than the others JSA. They should have left the church it as a chard corpse. Just needs a new gift shop.

Quite wrong NS. I'm the principal and founder of an international architecture firm which has been recognized through design awards and publications. Certainly over the course of a 30+ year architectural career I've had some letdowns, but not failures.
BTW, is that a Swiss chard?
