Arizona State University seeks a Lecturer in Architecture
Location: Tempe, AZ
The Design School at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applications for a Lecturer in Architecture position. This will be a nine-month, non-tenure-track appointment beginning fall 2020. This position is renewable on an annual basis contingent upon availability of resources, satisfactory performance, and the needs of the unit. The Architecture Program offers a professional Masters of Architecture (MArch), a four-year pre-professional Bachelor of Science in Design (BSD) in Architectural Studies, and a Minor in Architectural Studies.
Pratt Institute seeks a Project Manager
Location: Brooklyn, NY
The Project Manager's responsibilities include the coordination and completion of construction projects on time within budget and within scope. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of in-house and design consultant construction projects; set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress of projects and prepare reports for distribution to supervisor regarding project status. Examples of job duties include project design and construction oversight on behalf of the Facilities Management Department as well as develop project scope, cost estimating, scheduling and contractor selection.
Lawrence Technological University seeks an Assistant Professor In Architecture (Design)
Location: Southfield, MI
The University is looking for outstanding and potentially unconventional candidates for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Master of Architecture/Bachelor of Architectural Science programs. The appointee will join a strong, collaborative group of teaching and applied research faculty to continue to develop pedagogical innovations in architectural design and practice. The appointment will commence in August 2020. Candidates must hold a terminal degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Professional registration is desirable but not essential.
University of Toronto seeks an Assistant Professor, Building Science

The John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto, invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in the area of Building Science. This appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and will be effective July 1, 2020 or shortly thereafter. The University seeks a candidate with a research agenda in any area of building science, including but not limited to structures; building envelopes; environmental systems; material analysis; passive building; building and urban metabolism; and building, cities, and health. They seek candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and strengthen our existing departmental strengths. Candidates should have the capacity to contribute to all of the design disciplines represented at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
Kent State University seeks a Schidlowski Emerging Faculty Fellowship Appointment

The College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) at Kent State University invites applications and nominations for the annual Schidlowski Emerging Faculty Fellowship starting Fall 2020. This nine-month residency is designed to engage promising junior faculty candidates in a dynamic and progressive academic environment at the outset of an architecture faculty career. In addition to a competitive teaching salary for the 2020-21 academic year, the fellowship provides a separate fund to support the production of an original design research project to be exhibited during the Spring 2021 semester.
University of California, Los Angeles seeks an Architectural Designer Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Reporting to the Housing Project Management Director, the Design Studio Manager will have management responsibility for planning, staffing, organizing, supervising, and controlling all internal design services provided by Housing Project Management. Provide oversight and guidance to staff professionals for planning, renovation and new construction projects and evaluate their performance; frequent review of and travel to work sites, requiring ability to climb ladders, walk and work in various rough graded sites, and lifting/lowering of weighted objects. Serve as the executive architect who has professional signatory authority on all construction documents developed by staff professionals.
The Ohio State University seeks a Howard E. LeFevre ’19 Emerging Practitioner Fellowship Candidate
Location: Columbus, OH
This Fellowship offers the successful applicant a 9-month fellowship to investigate and develop your project. In relation to that investigation and within the fellowship period, you will be asked: 1. To teach a design studio in which ideas related to your project are considered within the disciplinary context of architecture, and, 2. To prepare and present an exhibition as well as a pamphlet, catalogue or monograph about the project. The successful candidate will have a degree in architecture or a related field. The Fellowship provides a salary for teaching, a paid Graduate Research Assistant, and a separate budget for research/project materials.
