University of Hawaii at Manoa seeks an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track)

The school seeks candidates who can demonstrate strong teaching abilities and demonstrated excellence in studio instruction, as well as emerging or established scholarship and design inquiry that exhibits an in-depth understanding of architectural design, practice, and collaboration with the broader professional and architectural communities. This appointment will begin in Fall 2020 and will be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate architecture design studios, design theory, architectural practice and related coursework. The candidate should be able to direct our existing Praxis program, which would require closely monitoring internships that are integral to our graduate degree program and coordinate the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP).
