Natalie Zepeda is a New York City native who grew up exposed to the world of the arts. At age fifteen, she moved to Los Angeles and completed her high school diploma while simultaneoulsy taking liberal arts college courses.

Natalie returned to New York in 2008 to pursue her passion for interior design. She attended the New York School of Interior Design where she discovered the influence and impact interior designers and architects have on the world around them. She then enrolled in the Interior Design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, from which she obtained her BFA degree.

Affected directly by Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Natalie began an interior design relief effort to restore the damaged homes of beachside residents in her neighborhood. This relief effort has since raised thousands of dollars in donations, and been mentioned in several articles in local newspapers and magazines. A “Good Day NY” segment featured an interview with Natalie about the project. This one relief effort has now expanded to include other volunteers and projects.

During the summer of 2014, Natalie travelled to Guatemala to join local efforts in builing “bottle schools” for the children of Chi Don Juan. These bottle structures are made mostly of recycled plastic bottles that the community there gathers themselves. This sustainable building method greatly helps reduce plastic waste, and raises awareness of the waste problems in developing countries- a cause Natalie deeply believes in.

In her free time, Natalie focuses on leading a healthy lifestyle and enjoys outdoor activities, running, water sports, and Bikram yoga. She also has a passion for the culinary arts and is always willing to try something new.
