Natalia Chetvernina

Seattle, WA, US

I am a recent M.Arch graduate from University of Washington, Seattle, currently seeking full-time entry-level employment or an internship. I have experience working in construction industry and at several architecture internships, both locally in the U.S. and abroad. I also have experience as a teaching instructor for drawing and design courses during graduate school and knowledge of passive systems and daylighting analysis through work with Integrated Design Lab in Seattle.

Born and raised in Siberia, Russia, I spent more than half of my life in the U.S. now. Throughout my education I traveled extensively and studied in Rome, Italy, and Copenhagen, Denmark. I am particularly interested in the role of architecture in urban placemaking, adaptive reuse, development in historic sites and buildings. I am passionate about diverse cultures and creating communities and fascinated with abandoned places.
