Aura is a mixed-use skyscraper, and was the tallest residential tower in Canada in 2018 and is still in the top 10 as of 2021. For the facade manufacturer I provided design options for optimizing the building facade and implications on the designed HVAC in both single aspect simulations targeting individual residences. Also performed whole building simulations. The simulations were designed to evaluate thermal comfort, natural ventilation, energy performance, CO2 footprint, and LEED energy and atmosphere credit projections.
