What (newish) music are you listening to these days?
Although not exactly new, yesterday I was jamming Balkan Beat Box for 8 hours of autocad.

You guys, this Darondo is blowing my mind right now! It's a crazy story too - he did funk in the 70s in San Francisco as kind of a hobby, and drive around in a Rolls wearing s white mink cost. Then his music was rediscovered shortly before his death in 2013. In the meantime he became a speech therapist and real estate success! But the music is ducking aaaaawesome!!!
I'm at an after party with a band covering an Elvis Costello song. The actual concert headliners an hour ago was Wilco.
And earlier tonight I heard an actual L7 song before this band stepped on stage. It's all over the place up in here.
and DnB, one guy in my studio in undergrad, he went by DJ Nero (I think) he'd drive us nutts with DnB...I drove people nuts with Infected Mushroom and Hallucinogen if I wasn't blaring Motely Crue or Pantera...most architect have very plane and sensitive ears.
