What (newish) music are you listening to these days?
Although not exactly new, yesterday I was jamming Balkan Beat Box for 8 hours of autocad.

Manzarek single-handedly rekindled my passion for piano. My mother made me play piano all thru grade-school. Never understood why. In high school, I heard 'Riders on the Storm' and thought, 'holy shit, that's amazing.' I now torture my own children with piano lessons.

Yes! my daughter (6) plays ukelele, harp, drums, and keyboard. I'm getting her a saxophone for Christmas. I played organ, keyboard, and percussion (cymbols, triangle, xylophone) and did jazz band.

My toddler got one of those floor pianos you step on. He loves it so much the batteries ran out on day 2.
I'm do love listening to music especially when I'm dancing with my dog, lately, he got sore joint due to his age and I'm thinking of having this heated dog bed for my pet because they are not only great for keeping your dog warm, but can also be therapeutic and improve circulation for older dogs that suffer from joint and muscle pain, arthritis and inflammation. What do you think about it?

Optimist by Anathema. Whole album is an absolute wonder. But specifically, 'San Francisco'. Pop it into your speakers on a drive to work once upon a gloomy February morning, you won't regret it ;]

I'll bite:
My first encounter with The Prodigy, before Flint was actually "singing" in the band. Later saw them a couple of times on festivals, very impressive.
