Hi, I want to start a thread to talk about current competitions. Which ones do you feel like participating in, any of them free of fees, or other things you want to talk about?

If you have to pay to enter, a US-based competition is almost guaranteed to be a scam of some kind. In the USA, real competitions tend to be either open or invitation only.
But that doesn't mean you can't use one to have fun and promote yourself. Just don't go into expecting it might lead to real work (Europe is different on this).

I saw the Nelson-Atkins competition posted a while ago, I'm sure there were a ton of submissions.
OP, you mean actual projects? Or speculative competitions. Or whatever they're called.
