Why is the BSc (Part 1) and MArch (Part 2) of UCL's Bartlett in UK so hard to get in?

  Basically the Bachelor's Course (Part 1) has a 11% acceptance rate whilst the Master's Course (Part 2) has a 10% acceptance rate.

  Why are they making it so hard for people to enter these two courses?
