I'm an architecture student trying to learn new drawing techniques. can can anyone please explain this types of drawings to me. I would be a huge help.

It's an abstract, artistic representation of the building that tries to convey 'feeling' of the space - the designer tries to explain what it is in the text on the left.
I'm not sure how one would go about creating something like this as there appears to be a lot of artistic license taken with the image in question. Based on the image, there doesn't appear to be any order or physical relationship to draw from.
