Can I get some suggestion like what sort of topics should I choose to use my computational and algorithmic skills?

Those are just vague subjects, not thesis ideas.
Have you considered putting in a little more effort or is crowd-sourcing your homework kosher in your school?

Well I have been having the thought of programmatic behavior of tourist in certain city and how can I make these travelers use minimum of their time and money to explore a certain city with numerous destination.
