My question must be easy to explain but I am a bit confused.
Is Commercial a separate sector like Healthcare or Education? What kind of buildings does it include? Can it include residential projects?
Also is Civic a separate sector or is it included in Commercial?

The sectors are loosely defined and each region and firm might have a different idea where things are divided. But for the most part commercial work is retail and office space, civic is separate and is most often correlated by the type of agency that funds it. Residential has some degrees of nuance. Multi family and single family are often viewed as separate sectors in the profession. Then there is the category of multi use or multi use residential where office commercial and residential uses are all in one building.
