Do you try to be productive while syncing to central?
Ate you being paid? Then you better be balls to the wall productive. Damn lazy drafting staff.
What kind of computer, network, and file size are you running?
Honestly, its my 3-minute check of Archinect usually. If Im catching up on a longer thread I double-sync; still counts as production yo!

read and reply to emails
do something with a pdf
research a product of some sort online
use software other than revit
do something that doesn't require software, such as refill the coffee cup
walk around and look out a window so my back and eyes don't go to shit.
those last two points are golden.
