This is an academic project I designed when I was in my second year of Design. Its site is located in a mountain in Connecticut, USA. The mountain has a beautiful lake view  at one side and the street at the other side. We had to design a mansion for a wealthy family. My idea was to excavate the terrain and built the house underground, allowing some parts of it to surface for light. You would access the house from the third floor and descend to more private areas. The program included gymnasium, church, theater, pool, game room, guest room, 6 bedrooms, etc.
