I am an Architectural Graduate from Wellington, New Zealand seeking to fulfill mylifelong dream of working in New York City. My love of architecture and passion for design has been with me for as long as I can remember & having graduated earlylast year with my Masters of Architecture I am excited I can finally make that dreamreal.
I spent the first semester of my Masters of Architecture degree on an exchange at the Techische Universitat in Munich, Germany and completed my degree at Victoria University of Wellington. Whilst studying in Wellington I was fortunate to gain considerable work experience at a variety of architecture firms and on completion of my studies I gained fulltime employment at Wellington’s award-winning Novak+Middleton Architects.
I enjoy working in a creative environment with friendly, positive & high achieving individuals like myself. My attention to detail & excellent communication & problem solving skills would also be an asset to any creative team.

I had the opportunity to work on projects ranging from large apartment developments to new builds and house alterations. I gained experience in all stages of the design process, from conception through to construction documentation and tender procurement. My role grew with responsibilities allowing me to have both a design role and a project architect role. Working along side my Director, I was in the forefront of the early design stages of many of the projects within the office. I was also entrusted with my own projects that I would see through from conception to completion.

Tutor for SARC 161 Design Communications. Teaching various visual design communication techniques and introducing students to numerous programs such as AutoCad, Rhino, SketchUp and the Adobe Suite.

Full time summer employment; working on the detailed design for a handful of projects ranging in scope and difficulty (ArchiCAD was used in the office). This work included completing all necessary building consent documentation and also preparing tendering documents and contracts for one of the projects.

A group research project forecasting New Zealands energy usage out to the year 2050 and developing an interactive web tool that can be used to explore possible scenarios. My role was to look at the present and future energy performance of New Zealands residential and non-residential buildings.

Work involved turning 2D CAD drawings into 3D models, rendering the models and applying post production work to create presentation quality images for clients.
