I utilized my explorations of Music and Architecture as inspiration in generating a lighting fixture. This LED lantern uses harmonic proportioning as a method of creation. It was hand crafted using baltic birch plywood and basswood, and I spent time learning how to properly configure an LED circuit. The 4x3 LED grid arrangement produces a geometric display of light while also illuminating the geometry of the lanterns form as well.
