The NYU Fitness Spa Center was designed as part of a competition (NCMA Competition). It aimed to create a space where the staff of NYU could come to for relaxation, and get away from the student body as a whole. It tries to create a home-like feeling, yet reminding them that they are at work. This is to demonstrate that employees can be more efficient when motivated or when the work environment is more enjoyable and relaxing.
