Washington University in St. Louis, Saint Louis, MO, US, Bachelors, Architecture

My degree work consisted of studio work focused on creating conceptual architectural designs based on the iterative process. I drew inspiration from site context, historical significance, and of course the program itself. This program was heavy on using technology and sketches for renderings, architectural drawings, and other presentation materials. Extracurricular courses and activities included co-founding ISSUES Magazine, a university publication that focuses on architecture, urban design, and social awareness. I was also involved in the Wash. Univ. chapter of the National Organization for Minority Architecture Students, where I participated in a second-place winning design to bring urban farming and education to vacant areas of Detroit.
