My name is Linzi Liu, an architectural designer with 1-year experience in the architectural & engineering industry in the United States. I've graduated in May 2020 from the University of Southern California with a master of architecture degree with honours.
I believe in creating sustainable, energy conserving and culture preserving built environment through existing programs, technologies, materials and ideas. As a major source of inspirations therefore, I'm intrigued by the logistics and science behind historical and contemporary vernacular architecture and I travel a great deal to learn about them. So far I've set foot across 5 continents and worked/studied extensively in 4 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
Besides architecture, another creative channel I'm largely involved with is graphic design (including traditional and digital art.) I often find inspirations from the visualisation of ideas in my drawings and that has been a constant companion throughout my professional life.
I’m seeking a firm where fluency in Revit, professional precision in both design and communication are valued. A place where one can work in a fast-pace environment and be challenged. A place where swift learning is encouraged and supported. As I am a very focused individual, I enjoy result-oriented challenges and opportunities to learn, question and refine.
