Loricelle is a registered architect with experience working on projects ranging from single and multi-unit housing to schools and laboratories throughout California and internationally. She has taken projects through various agency approvals, including DSA and OSHPD. 

She also has field research experience working on community development projects in Palermo and London. Field observations, interviews and benchmarking studies were conducted to uncover opportunities resulting in policy proposals and outreach strategies for stakeholders.

In her free time, Loricelle volunteers her expertise with Damside Preparatory School, a Kenyan not-for-profit school focused on orphans and vulnerable children in the Kibera slum. She is leading efforts to design and construct a new school campus outside Nairobi with a capacity for 600 children.



HDR, Pasadena, CA, US, Architect

Incorporated multiple client change requests to deliver construction document set under original deadline for Cedar Sinai Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion’s lab expansion of 25,000 sq. ft. Collaborated with stakeholders and consultants to deliver bridging documents for design build project of 20,000 sq. ft. biological research space including additional feasibility studies. Managed construction administration for 21 California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Facilities, coordinating with on-site superintendent to resolve RFIs and submittals.

Gonzalez Goodale Architects, Pasadena, CA, US, Designer

Led master plan and campus design through City of Pasadena Design Review process for Villa Esperanza School – a campus for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Created phasing plan to maintain school operation during construction of 15-year master plan temporary classrooms, multi-purpose and administration building. Observed campus on-site activities and worked with stakeholders to refine design. Contributed to conceptual design and proposal presentation for two transit-oriented affordable housing projects (85 units total) for the Metro Joint Development Program. Projects resulted in housing for more than 200+ residents, in addition to mixed-use development on the ground floor serving ridership on the Metro Gold Line. Managed community hospital seismic-retrofit upgrade coordination for agency approval.

Worked closely with team to develop over 20 domestic and international projects for planned
communities, including single family and multi-family developments, and hospitality projects.
Assisted lead designer with design details for sustainable restaurant design located in Beijing, China.

Pepperdine University Construction and Campus Planning, Malibu, CA, US, Project Assistant

Created a university space planning database to help improve management of building operations.
Performed field surveys, and completed project close outs for on-campus projects. Coordinated design and implementation of International Programs Suite renovation. Assisted with occupancy planning and department relocation, coordinating with facilities team. Implemented organization of materials library and digital archives for all campus design projects. Generated a feasibility study for dormitory expansion to increase the number of enrollment by 25% for Heidelberg Study Abroad Programs.
