My goal is to transition into the professional world of architecture as an intern by expanding my knowledge in all aspects of the field under the mentorship of highly qualified professionals while contributing to the firm with my experience in design, computer drafting, and customer service.

During my time as an architecture student I have used AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suites heavily, among other programs. Last spring during my time at the Washington Alexandria Architecture Center I took a Revit class, but it was not until my internship last summer at Niles Bolton Associates in Alexandria, Virginia, that I was able to experience the use of BIM in the context of an architecture firm. As an intern, I worked mostly on construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD, but also took as-built measurements, made graphics for the company’s website, assisted with the office renovation, and attended meetings and training sessions. My time at Niles Bolton was an invaluable resource in my transition into the professional realm and helped me refine the skills I have gained during my education in the collaborative environment of an architecture firm.

I will be moving to Denver following my graduation in May and would love to gain experience in any and all facets of the wonderful world of architecture. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
