The Grand Central Creative Campus for Disney is located in Glendale, CA. Designed as a large corporate campus, the project entails a phased sequence of four new buildings arraigned around a central shaded bosque. I was fortunate to be involved in this project from the middle of schematic design to the end of construction documents. I have included the following images from this project’s “Knuckle Stair” which I designed (under the direction of very talented project architects) and documented in Revit. This stair is the exterior connection that laces two of the buildings together on all six stories. From the images you can see how the series of stairs, bridges and balconies create a whimsical and functional moment in this project. These images show the progression from schematics to the built reality.
