Since relocating to New York, she has joined the dynamic team at Spacesmith, LLP. Specializing in corporate interiors and workplace strategy, she has been instrumental to the success of several complex strategic plans and subsequent designs. Julia has a strong background in the arts and enjoys painting, figure drawing, and creative projects in her spare time.

American Farmer’s Museum

Design and development of a 30,000 sf museum to hold antique farm equipment and toys. Designed
to also host a variety of functions, the museum is composed of large open spaces, classroom style areas, small display zones, and an auditorium.

Inspired by Franklin D. Roosevelt’s “Four Freedoms Speech”, the circular, 6,000 sf design celebrates the positive, allied relationship between the United States and New Zealand. The outdoor space has areas for sitting and reflection, as well as celebrations and more formal occasions.

New 25,500 sf headquarters including a warehouse and separate office on the historic Randall House site. The design was carefully curated to minimize invasiveness and blend in with the existing barns and homes.

Cranston Residence
Cranston, RI
Full interior renovation of an 8,800 SF existing home and new addition. Many elements of the design were custom created from the cabinet pulls to bathroom stone work. Each room boasts individually selected lighting fixtures, furnishings, drapery, millwork, and luxury finishes.

Interior fit-out of a 3,000 sf high-end residential penthouse. The two bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom luxury suite was designed to maximize the views of downtown Providence.
