Employer:Studio MM is a 9-person Hudson Valley based architecture firm that specializes in client-focused contemporary RESIDENTIAL design. We pride ourselves on working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment, both with our clients and within our office.
Most of our current projects are custom high-end homes outside of NYC. We offer the exciting opportunity to create dream homes in the Hudson Valley and Catskills areas of “Upstate” NY.
We are a group of creatives that enjoy collaborating in a fun and energetic studio environment and are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to join our studio.
This is a full-time position and while this opportunity does have some flexibility for remote work, candidates should be local or within driving distance to the Hudson Valley. Our preference for this position is someone who will work in our Olivebridge, NY studio three to five days per week.
We value hard work and commitment and are seeking a highly motivated Project Architect/Manager with 10+ years of experience in residential architecture. This position offers terrific opportunities for long-term growth, working directly with the principal and other members of the studio during all stages of design.
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
able to manage a project from Schematic Design through Construction Administration, including organizing drawing sets and coordinating consultants;
able to work well in a collaborative environment;
must have experience managing clients;
proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required;
must have strong technical knowledge and detailing skills;
experience overseeing a project team and interest in mentoring junior architectural staff is highly preferred; and
the ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who can work efficiently and independently.
