Join Our Team: Architect (8-12 Years Experience) Colberg Architecture is seeking a skilled Architect with 8-12 years of experience to join our Brooklyn-based studio. This is a unique opportunity for a proven leader and collaborator who values design excellence and embraces a holistic approach to architectural practice.

About the Role The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across varying timelines. This role requires flexibility to navigate seamlessly between design, documentation, and construction administration. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and team-focused, with a passion for transforming conceptual ideas into thoughtful, technical solutions.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to all project phases, from initial design through construction, demonstrating both creative and technical expertise.

Qualifications

  • Professional Architecture degree
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience
  • Licensure preferred but not required
  • Strong technical knowledge paired with a refined design sensibility
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other 3D modeling and documentation tools
  • In-depth understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, jurisdictional processes, construction materials, specifications, and techniques
  • Proven ability to develop construction document sets, including detailing and consultant coordination
