Kari Whitman Interiors is a distinguished design-build firm and trusted designer to the celebrities, focusing on green design while still embracing Kari’s signature style, “eclectic self-expressionism". While headquartered in Boulder and LA, KWI's prestigious projects extend globally.

We are currently seeking to add an energetic and self-motivated licensed architect for our office in Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate must be passionate about design, take pride and ownership in their work, possess solid leadership and communication skills, and enjoy a professional team environment. High professional standards and a strong work ethic is a must.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Architect in Colorado
• Bachelor or Masters of Architecture preferred
• 5+ years of experience working with residential and commercial architecture and construction documentation creation
• Strong portfolio
• General knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
• MUST be extremely comfortable with AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
• Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal finished product
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
• Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
• Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets

Pay: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
