The Switzer Group seeks a highly skilled Marketing Proposal Manager to join our dynamic New York team. This role is crucial in supporting our business development efforts and securing key projects for the Firm. The ideal candidate will possess at least eight years (8) of marketing experience within the Architecture / Engineering / Real Estate industry and will be a collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive individual. Exceptional skills in persuasive and non-technical writing, storytelling, and research are essential to advancing our Firm’s strategic goals. Works with leadership, accounting, and technical personnel to ensure their pieces are prepared on time and comply with the RFP requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposals: Manages, produces and ensures the delivery of top quality, on-time, strategic and accurate proposals, RFQ responses and presentations. Acts as process driver to ensure the most efficient procedures and protocols are in place. Coordinates or obtains information needed from consultant firms to be included in proposals or at presentations.
  • Interviews: Contributes to client interview strategies, prepares marketing presentation materials, and manages internal interview rehearsals.
  • Knowledge Development: Develops a deep understanding of the firm’s portfolio, personnel, and services. Builds subject matter expertise across markets and services to enhance marketing pursuits.
  • Research: Conducts and synthesizes market and client research to craft compelling and cohesive narratives.
  • Marketing Collateral: Writes, edits, formats, and proofreads text for marketing collateral including project descriptions, resumes, brochures, announcements, and PR posts. Ensures brand consistency across all materials using graphic templates. Maintains a comprehensive library of content materials.
  • Promotional Content: Writes engaging content for Firm's promotional purposes, advertisements and social media campaigns.
  • Coordination: Manages sponsorships, award submissions, events, and photography that align with TSG's communication objectives.
  • Additional Tasks: Participates in bi-weekly Marketing meetings and supports various marketing-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Eight (8) years of marketing experience within the Architecture, Engineering, or Real Estate industries.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with a passion for innovation.
  • Expertise in marketing proposal procedures, and a thorough understanding of proposal and presentation processes.
  • Strong time and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders across the firm.
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Word, Excel, and Photoshop; experience with MailChimp and social media platforms (Instagram and LinkedIn) is a plus.
  • Passionate about architecture and design.
