Scott Edwards Architecture is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our Public sector team.

For the position of Public sector Project Architect we are seeking a candidate with strong design and technical skills, augmented by a proven ability to successfully lead a team, coordinate multiple consultants, and communicate professionally and effectively with our clients.

Only resumes supporting the following qualifications and experience will be considered:

  • Architectural degree from an accredited school.
  • Architecture license is preferred.
  • 10+ years professional experience in design and construction document production in the public sector including City Halls, Public Safety, and Operations facilities.
  • Knowledge of building and zoning code review with experience in land use and permit drawing approval from municipal agencies.
  • Extensive CA experience including review of contractor payment requests, schedules & change orders, attending regular site meetings, issuing site note, RFI responses, and show drawing reviews.
  • Work with production team to complete thorough and concise construction documents utilizing a full suite of advanced technology to aid in design, communication and management.  Strong proficiency in Revit is required with skill in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp preferred.
