Lewis/Schoeplein architects is a small West Los Angeles-based, multi-disciplinary firm. Our diverse practice includes single and multi-family residential, commercial development, master planning, and community-based design for institutions, governmental agencies, and not-for-profits.
About You
We are looking for a creative, thoughtful, detail-oriented project architect to join our mighty team of dedicated designers.
Responsibilities
- Investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions
- Involvement in all phases of the design, permitting and construction process
- Communication and coordination with consultants
- Recommendations of technical construction solutions
- Quality reviews of Construction Documents
- Interface with regulatory agencies during design and permitting
- Attend site meetings, manage communications and submittal reviews during construction
Qualifications
- Professional degree in architecture, plus at least five years of related experience. *Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong background in Revit Architecture.
- Experience creating, reviewing, and revising construction drawings for projects similar to ours. Particular areas of interest may include projects for education, commercial tenant improvements and single family residential.
- Experience working with public agencies for project permitting, particularly in Southern California.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
