We are seeking a talented Design Manager to oversee the design and execution of a major museum project on behalf of a well-established local real estate developer. This role involves managing consultants and guiding the project through all phases, from concept to construction, ensuring high standards of design quality and adherence to project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the design process, ensuring a high caliber of design is achieved and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with various consultants to uphold design intent while ensuring constructibility.
• Monitor and control project budget and schedule, ensuring all phases align with established financial and timeline parameters.
• Engage effectively with high-level stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration across a lean team environment.
• Lead complex teams towards common design solutions and project goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture, owners' representation, or development. Client-side experience is not mandatory, but is a plus.
• Proven experience with complex cultural projects, having successfully managed projects from design through construction administration.
• Strong ability to drive teams towards consensus and resolution of design challenges.
• Proficiency in managing project budgets, schedules, and overall profitability.
