Multi-family developer dedicated to building community with a focus on wellness and technology seeking a Head of Architecture to lead their architecture and design team in Miami. It’s an exciting opportunity to work with an owner/operator looking to transform the way we live, and the idea of building community.  

This is a rare opportunity to join the company as they begin expanding locally and abroad and to help build the team from the ground up with a well-funded start-up.

 This is a true start-up, so the right person must be ambitious, with an agile personality to work through ambiguity.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• A mix of strategic planning, people management, and project execution
• Collaborating with executives and stakeholders across the brand to ensure strategy alignment, including establishing and managing teams, project plans, budgets, timelines 
• Hiring, leading, and mentoring the architecture and design team company-wide to foster a high-functioning, ambitious team built on trust and collaboration
• Managing internal and external team and resources to ensure seamless project execution
• Establishing and maintaining architecture & design standards and best practices across the organization

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; a Master's degree is preferred
• 12+ years of professional experience in the architecture field, with 5+ years developing and leading teams
• Extensive experience overseeing all phases of high-rise residential and mixed-use development; both new developments and renovations/adaptive reuse projects
• Experienced establishing and managing budgets, schedules, and overseeing financial successes of projects
• Ability to mentor and motivate a high-functioning team

Compensation:

Base salary will be based on experience and can range from $250-$350K+.  In addition, there will be an equity component along with 100% paid Medical, Dental, Vision as well as other offerings.
