IMMEDIATE HIRE: Excellent opportunities to join Award winning, highly collaborative, team oriented, creatively driven international architectural lighting design firm looking for Designers with relevant work experience in Architectural Lighting Design or Architecture.

This a Freelance Position with the possibility of a full time opportunity for the right person!

Candidate should be a professional who is exceptionally well organized, resourceful, conscientious, dedicated and detail-oriented with very good written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.

Skills::

  • Lighting design experience not necessary
  • A strong understanding how REVIT works.
  • REVIT experience that involves tagging and schedules; such as doors, windows etc. (Same workflow for lighting) Guidance and Support will be supplied
  • This is a Production/Mechanical position of putting mechanical work into REVIT.
  • Strong sensibility and appreciation for design communication and eye for detail
  • Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Work collaboratively as a member of L’Observatoire’s project team and able to take direction.

 We are a New York City-based lighting design office, with additional offices in Europe, in business for more than 30 years, collaborating with prominent architectural and interior design firms world-wide. Full time, Freelance/ Per project positions available.
