Alloi Architecture + Construction is a growing, award-winning design build practice, staffed by both architects, builders, and support personnel.  Our work ranges from modern kitchen remodels to full scale institutional projects with most of our practice focused on detailed design and construction of custom high-performance minimalist modern homes.

We are seeking an Architect with 5+ years’ experience to manage our architecture department and to lead the team on various unique projects in Los Angeles.

We value craftsmanship and creativity in both architecture and construction and are expanding our team of focused professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Revit 2023 concept through construction documentation excellence
  • Fully able to conceptualize sketch and draft modern custom home details
  • Lead a small studio of 4 designers
  • Collaborate closely with our in-house construction team
  • Work with detailed construction budgets
  • Ability and prowess to present design packages directly to clients and associates
  • Interact and manage architectural office procedures
  • Sketch conceptual layouts by hand
  • Model projects digitally
  • Understand Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and Culver City building and planning codes
  • Understand cost management
  • Be humble, teachable, and empowering to the team

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years design and construction experience for residential custom single-family projects
  • Architecture degree required
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Revit Excellence
  • Bluebeam proficiency
  • Fohlio proficiency
  • Lumion proficiency
  • Strong interest and grasp on lighting design a plus.

  • Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines

Process:

Stage 1 Screening Interview:
20 minute zoom
An introductory video call to get to know each other

Stage 2 Detailed Interview:
60 minute
In-person interview with our team at our office

Stage 3 Reference Interviews:
5 minute zoom per reference
Candidates will be asked to schedule each reference interview through our portal
