Allied Projects, located in Long Beach, California is a design company specializing in residential and commercial design.

Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated architectural designer who is interested in working in both residential and commercial projects. Must have a diverse set of design skills and creative in both architectural and interior design.

Job Requirements:

  • Design with confidence in timeless style and able to produce multiple iterations when needed.
  • Assemble design presentations, permit drafting, construction detail drafting, millwork drafting, custom furniture drafting, finish and equipment schedules. Drawing sets and design data are to be coordinated with other professional consultants on the team.
  • Visually communicate design through drawings and diagrams with efficiency.
  • Handle tasks of permitting requirements and attend any city meetings with confidence.
  • Drive to project locations in and beyond Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
  • Haul samples or furniture pieces for presentations or installations.
  • Attend meetings with team design leader, contractors, building consultants and clients both at the office and on active job sites.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in the architectural field from an accredited school.
  • 4+ years of professional experience showing proficiency in progressive residential and commercial design.
  • Show interest in professional growth and desire to increase responsibilities at hand.
  • Reliable and dependable for any task given. Follow through is a must. 
  • Must show a strong work ethic, communication and work well in a team setting in and beyond our office.
  • Must have strong graphic, technical skills and an exceptionally strong design sense.
  • Able to take direction and initiative with minimal supervision and routine team meetings.
  • Ability to complete work on weekly deadlines and communicate clear scheduling needs.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
