Standard is an award winning, design-focused practice based near Sunset Junction in Los Angeles:  http://www.standardarchitecture.com.  We have an opening for a conscientious designer to join our team.  Current and upcoming projects include contemporary residences, commercial/hospitality, interiors and art galleries. 

The position offers the opportunity to participate in the design process and to acquire responsibility for project development.  Responsibilities include: research and conceptual design, architectural design and documentation, consultant coordination, and collaboration with project team members.  The candidate will be licensed or on the path to licensure, with the following qualifications and skills:

• An interest in our modern, detail-oriented design aesthetic
• A portfolio exhibiting excellent architectural design and graphic presentation skills
• The ability to think conceptually, and apply program and other parameters rigorously
• A technical understanding of architecture and construction
• Software skills: Revit, Adobe CS, MS Office, Twinmotion experience is helpful 
• Status to work in the US, with a professional degree in architecture or interior design, based in Los Angeles
