Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the documentation, dissemination, and monitoring of office standards, industry best practices and industry advancements under the guidance of a senior BIM Manager.

• Participate in the development and creation of digital assets such as families, templates, details, and the maintenance and archival of digital libraries.

• Participate in project kick-off meetings to identify tasks and issues relating to project teams and collaboration; identify and resolve project specific issues in setting up and working with Revit models.

• Assist design teams in the initialization of cloud based BIM projects and facilitates the

coordination and communication between the architecture team and third party consultants.

• Ensure that all members of the project team and consultants are following the means and methods outlined in the BIM execution plan.

• Reliable go-to person for any BIM and Revit related issues that may arise.

• Participate in occasional team meetings to help resolve project issues such as coordination, scheduling, and technical concerns.

• Enforce the usage of digital library templates and assets per office digital guidelines across all our projects.

• Work with project teams to draft architectural site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details.

• Responsible for assisting in providing Revit training through a combination of onsite and/or online training courses – geared towards new employees and focused on the essentials of Revit in order to quickly build an experience base for new users.

• Assist the IT team in the deployment and updating of new and existing software so that all of our Revit users have the appropriate tools, add-ins and skills to be productive.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Architectural Design or BIM A.S. Degree or equivalent;

• 3-5 years AEC working experience, preferably in an Architecture firm;

• Knowledge of professional architectural practice standards, project delivery and levels of development (LOD);

• Extensive knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD;

• Extensive knowledge of Revit family and template editors, including parametric family creation;

• Experience in visual programming for Revit (i.e. Dynamo);

• Extensive knowledge of Autodesk’s Construction Cloud platform, specifically in file and project management;
