[place] is looking for a junior landscape designer to join our team.

[place] is a landscape and architectural design studio that creates innovative, engaging, and site-specific spaces. Our unique perspective derives from our experience as both architects and landscape designers—approaching every project as a unique opportunity to integrate the site with the architectural experience. The studio atmosphere, while working remotely, allows for an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative approach from concept through construction. Our projects cover a variety of sizes and typologies, ranging from large creative and cultural campuses to small scale residential gardens.

Ideal candidates have the following skills:

• 1 to 2 years of experience minimum
• Eagerness to learn
• A high degree of self-motivation, responsibility, flexibility, and resourcefulness
• Strong design, graphic, and organizational skills
• An ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of Southern California planting materials, and technical aspects of landscape design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency with Autocad, Sketch-up and Adobe CS
• Experience with MS Office
• Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture

Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience.
