Field Day is an experimental architecture and development practice driven to create thoughtful, well designed projects from the scale of objects to city-blocks. We are based in Ann Arbor/Detroit and currently have a variety of commercial and residential projects in SE Michigan. Our preoccupations include material richness, exquisite detailing, critical thinking and innovative design.
Our practice is growing and we are seeking one or more members to join our team. Ideal candidates should be interested in many facets of our practice including property acquisition and entitlements; community engagement; all phases of design; construction documentation; making/building; marketing. We will work with our team members’ interests and strengths to craft a position that works with our office and their interests. Candidates probably have 0-3 years of experience. This is an exceptional opportunity to earn APX hours and work on cool projects, and to learn and grow with the Field Day team!
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Photoshop and Indesign
Excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients, including strong writing skills
Detail-oriented and organized
