We are looking for a full-time Architectural Designer to join our growing and dynamic team. Designers in our firm are responsible for the successful production of drawing sets, presentations, and design concepts. They work both independently and in teams, depending upon project scale. Designers at Bell Design Group are exposed to the entirety of the architectural process and are expected to contribute to the ideation and conversation for their projects and the studio. Our goal is to engage exceptional talent and grow the skills necessary for lifelong success in an architectural career. Responsibilities

  • Design conceptualization
  • Drawing set production
  • Working with 3D models and 2D representations
  • Specification and documentation of FF&E
  • Mood boards and graphic presentations
  • Construction detailing and agency submissions
  • Code research and compliance
  • Coordination and collaboration with team members
  • Assistance with project documentation
  • Generation of furniture plans, FF&E manuals, schedules, and more

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 1-4 years of experience
  • Software Experience to include 3D modeling and Adobe Creative Suite at a minimum
  • BIM experience is preferred; ArchiCAD and AutoCAD experience is a bonus
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams
  • Basic organizational skills
  • Varied experience with desire to learn
  • Experience includes engagement in the architectural process outside of the academic environment
  • Must be knowledgeable of the conventional aspects of architecture
  • Must understand basic structural and MEP engineering concepts
  • Able to produce designs and drawings with guidance
  • Able to engage in independent research and problem-solving
