Role Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Intermediate Architect with Interiors Focus to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in our interior architecture projects, focusing on obtaining municipal approvals and ensuring compliance with local regulations in New York City, Westchester County, and Long Island.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee interior architecture projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all design elements align with the client's vision and regulatory requirements.
  • Municipal Approvals: Navigate the complexities of municipal approval processes in New York City, Westchester County, and Long Island, ensuring timely and successful project clearances.
  • Design Development: Collaborate with the design team to develop and refine interior design concepts, ensuring functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and other necessary documentation for municipal submissions and project execution.
  • Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and other relevant regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in interior architecture, with a focus on municipal approvals in New York City, Westchester County, and Long Island.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and approval processes.
  • Proficiency in architectural software with a focus on Rhino, Autocad, and Revit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional licensure or certification in architecture or interior design.
