We are a General Contracting company in the Metropolitan area, handling projects from high-end residential to retail and commercial. Our company is actively seeking an Project Coordinator. This person will offer both administrative and field support services to Executives and office personnel in a growing family-owned bespoke GC/Renovation firm. 

This role is ideal for candidates interested in growing their Project Management and Construction/Design Buildout experience. Ideally, this position will grow into a full-time Project Manager role.


Duties entail:

  • Capable individual to serve as the second-in-command to the executive, overseeing on-site crew management and acting as a direct extension of the executive's responsibilities.
  • Offering comprehensive administrative support to the executive, encompassing schedule management, communication handling, coordination of meetings, information management, liaison duties, project assistance, expense management, and upholding confidentiality.
  • Taking notes during site meetings, field reports for all projects to ensure all parties are on the same page and relaying messages to all parties involved in the project to ensure smooth progress.
  • Schedule and manage sub-contractors.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing all concerns, and fostering positive client relationships.

The ideal candidate must be:

  • An ideal candidate is someone is eager to learn, positive attitude, easily adaptable, organized, detail oriented and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor degree is required.
  • Previous experience in construction project management or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Asana, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • OSHA is preferred.
