Coppa Montalbano Architects is located in Totowa NJ, approximately 30 minutes outside NYC. Our origins date back to 1956 with a deep history in the northern New Jersey area. We are design oriented full service architectural, planning and interior design firm focusing on both public and private projects. Our firm’s philosophy is a positive collaborative work atmosphere that foresters good design and personal service to our clients. Our diversity in project types provides our firm exposure across several sectors of the industry giving opportunity for experience in new endeavors on a daily basis. 

We are currently seeking entry to intermediate level candidates to work on both smaller and larger projects, who are self-driven who are looking to learn and capable to collaborate with a team. candidates should have desire to lean the design and construction process form conception to construction completion. We have a diverse range of projects from school renovations /additions, corporate interiors, justice complexes to midsize single and multi-family residential.

Skill and Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite.
• Knowledge of REVIT a plus.
• Knowledge of Sketchup or similar rendering software a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with, coworkers, clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Expected to integrate tasks proficiently after taking detailed instruction from senior staff.
• Ability to work self-sufficiently with flexibility to perform a variety of tasks.
• Must be open to learning the profession of Architecture.
• Minimum Bachelors of Architecture degree preferred.
• Any related work experience preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• This is a full time in office position.
